Roam is operated by FAB NZ Limited, using the Sharetribe platform. This Privacy Notice outlines how FAB Group manages the personal data collected through Roam and related services. Who is collecting my information?

All personal information provided to or collected through Roam is managed by FAB NZ Limited and its related companies (hereinafter referred to as “FAB Group NZ,” “we,” “us” or “our”). FAB NZ Limited is the authorised operator of Roam and is responsible for the management and protection of personal data collected through your use of the platform.

This Privacy Notice applies to:

Contracting staff using Roam to create profiles, connect with clinics, and manage bookings. Clinics using Roam to connect with, manage, and engage contracting staff. It also applies to communications and marketing related to Roam and FAB Group NZ services.

What information is being collected?

Under the Privacy Act 2020, "personal information" means information about an identifiable individual. We collect personal information:

  • Directly from you when you register, create a profile, communicate through Roam, submit compliance documents, or interact with support.
  • Automatically through your use of the Roam platform (e.g. browser type, IP address, time on site).
  • From third parties, such as training providers or compliance partners, when authorised.

How do we collect your personal information?

Direct collection examples include:

  • Creating a Roam account (clinic or contractor)
  • Adding or updating profile information
  • Messaging between clinics and contractors
  • Uploading compliance documentation or certifications
  • Booking or managing appointments

Automatic collection examples include:

  • Platform usage (time spent, pages visited)
  • Device information (IP address, browser, operating system)

From other sources:

  • Franchise clinics or affiliated providers may share information to support verification, onboarding, or quality assurance

Why do we collect your information?

We collect, use and disclose personal information to:

  • Enable contractors and clinics to connect, message, and book services
